In a land that reveres cricket as a religion, if there is one game that challenges its popularity, it is Antakshari. Born from the sub-continent’s passion for music and especially Hindi film songs, it has the magical ability to bind friends & families, wedding revelers and unknown co-travellers.

While other games like cricket evolved from test matches to one days to T20, Antakshari continued to be uni-dimensional. With the coming of age of Hindi music in the recent years and its multi-dimensional consumption, Antakshari was ripe for a new perspective.

Something more for the true music lover, something deeper, something more exciting. In a nutshell, it is time to unveil Antakshari 2.0.

Instead of the old rule where-in the team/contestant has to sing the first verse of a song that begins with the Hindi consonant/vowel on which the previous contestant's song ended, now the team/contestant has to sing a song which has the same singer or same lyricist or the same music director as that of the previous song sung by their opponents.

It’s the next level of the game, an Antakshari for those who really know their music. Presented by Sony Mix, It is an Antakshari created by music lovers, for music lovers.

The Second of the many that will come as a part of a campaign for Sony Mix.
