Raise $150,000 by June 1, 2012, to allow the team to spend 5 days at Camp Tontozona this Fall. The team would visit Camp T from August 14-18, concluding with a public scrimmage on August 18th.
The $150,000 would be used toward Camp Tontozona capital expenses including, but not limited to:
Renovating the upper practice field ($50,000)
Installing a video editing network for the coaching staff ($30,000)
Rental fees ($26,000)
Food service ($25,000)
Bus Transportation ($12,500)
Vehicle rental fees ($6,000)
Main practice field maintenance ($5,000)
Laundry, bedding, scrimmage management and much more
The $150,000 figure is for a return to Camp Tontozona for this 2012 only. Camp T has an aging infrastructure that will require continuous upgrading and repair for the site to remain viable as an annual destination for Sun Devil Football. The funds generated for this season will be a starting point, but continual support will be required to maintain and improve the facilities to maximize the benefits for our football program.
If we don't reach the goal of raising $150,000 by June 1st, we will not be able to return to Camp Tontozona in 2012. However, we will continue to raise money and attempt to go in 2013.
