Lucio K has taken Mashup to a new level in Brazil. As Dj of the world’s longest running Brazilian dance party “Brazooka” in Rio de Janeiro (alive and well for 11 years) Lucio K knows Brazilian rhythms. He injects spice to the art of the Mashup by layering and transforming diverse rhythmic styles such as Baile Funk , Samba, and Maracatu, as well as adding hundreds of instruments and pop vocals, all mixed live on stage. The result is an explosion of energy, a blending of musical elements never before thought possible.
