playing with growing vines, ribbons, things, etc. alot of possibilities for this one, but then again it has been done, i can think of one good application doing something similar, Butterfly from Glenn Marshall who already done a good job on similar stuff, but... it can still get better =)

    i have made public the class that was used to render ribbons for most of the videos shown here. there is also the "(hmm) Arcs", that has a improved version of the same class. source code is online.. check it out: pixelnerve.com/v/?s=mesh&x=0&y=0
