Demo of the Five Filters application. Developed at Medialab-Prado, Madrid, it takes corporate newspaper clippings as input and presents related, non-corporate news stories as alternatives. Selected stories can then be printed in a columnar newspaper format.
It scans newspaper text using a webcam, OCRs the image and uses the resulting text to search non-corporate news sources online for related stories.
