Ben Scheirman (flux88.com/) opens the conference and then turns it over to Steven "Doc" List (stevenlist.com), the facilitator, who explains how Open Spaces conferences work. Finally, the participants propose sessions for the rest of the weekend.

I recorded this video using a Flip Mino HD camera. I added a title, normalized and set the audio to 200% using Apple's iMovie '08. Then, I exported it using the Medium setting (640x360).
