The Dallas Independent School District Board of Trustees voted April 26, 2012 to name Mike Miles as the district’s new Superintendent of Schools. Miles’ first official day on the job will be July 1, 2012. However, the board voted to enter into an additional Administrative Services Agreement with Miles that would allow him to get to work immediately.
