AltNetHouston: FubuMVC
At the AltNetHouston Open Spaces conference, Chad Myers (lostechies.com/blogs/chad_myers) with some assistance from Jeremy Miller (codebetter.com/blogs/jeremy.miller) gave an overview of FubuMVC, an MVC framework inspired by ASP.NET MVC, but with an eye to composition vs. inheritance. Due to battery issues, I recorded the first half hour of the 1 hour and 10 minute presentation.
I recorded this video using a Flip Mino HD camera. I added a title, normalized and set the audio to 200% using Apple's iMovie '08. Then, I exported it using the Medium setting (640x360).

7 months ago So, it turns out there is some sort of problem with the sound in the embedded video. The source file appears to be okay. Vimeo has recommendations for bit rates, compression, etc. for uploading videos. The Opening Circle video seemed to upload fine. So, first I am going to re-upload it. If it still fails, I'll delve into this issue further tomorrow evening. -

7 months ago Okay, I am re-uploading the video to Vimeo as we speak. According to the historically highly inaccurate Vimeo upload estimate, it will be completed in two hours and five minutes. In the meantime, I was able to download the video directly using the link in the bottom right corner and play it locally without sound problems. And, yes, it appears that you can download the old video while I am uploading the new video. -
