Food brings us together; one shared plate can produce countless moments and memories. The 'Dishing Up the Past' project aims to collect recipes and kitchen stories from first and second generation immigrants in Montreal in a video series format. This unique and TASTY hands-on cooking workshop was a chance for two of the project's interviewees, Gilberte and Aaron to demonstrate some delicious, traditional Sephardic dishes while telling stories and speaking on themes of identity, tradition, and how they (and their recipes) have adapted as new immigrants.
