Laureen Rama Author Talk: Eco-yards

This is a recording of a May 14th, 2011 RISE Network Videoconference titled Laureen Rama Author Talk.

This videoconference session was created and presented by Laureen Rama, Calgary landscaper and author of the book, “Eco-Yards: Simple steps to earth-friendly landscapes” and hosted by Strathmore Municipal Library (Strathmore, Alberta). The session provided participants with simple steps to create an eco-friendly yard and covered many of the topics from her book, including:

* How to make a yard water-wise.

* The secret to healthy soil.

* How to easily replace a lawn with trees, shrubs and flower beds.

* How to change a lawn to hardy, low maintenance grass.
