Matt Scannel of Vertical Horizon released a 'castaway' song from the Go sessions... It's perhaps not the best song(??), but it's still enjoyable and a lot of fun to play.
Shot using a 38 year old lens on my 5D MkII.... That's why it's in Black & White
(Sorry if my office is a mess, I haven't spent more even a week at home in over 3 months.)
I think this is my first public video recording with the Vox Tonelab DT (Yes, the rare blue desktop model!) in my rig, and most definitely the first play-along video since I had my wrist surgery! :)
And the rack - http://www.flickr.com/photos/mikegeiger/5816584096 - largely unchanged since then; the MXR overdrive died, idly looking for a better replacement, and I just put in a new-old-stock (1950s?) 12AX7 vacuum tube in the Tonelab - there's definitely subtle differences between it and the JJ/Sovtek that was in there.
Patches: Edge OD, Wrecktem, Stef r0x0r
FX: Compression & EQ througout, Korg SDD-2000 Delay for leads
Tuning: Standard E-Flat
... I'm sure Matt used one of his Gibson 355s or somesuch for the verse...
Can you guess which patches or parts were transistor vs. tube?
