So perfect. My husband and I sat on the couch together and he held me while I cried through the whole thing, smiling through my tears to tell him the stories I knew. We live in a wonderful time when memorials can be seen and just not heard. Maddie will be just like she is forever. ...no more pain, just smiles, no more hospitals, just kisses, no more fevers, just bliss, no more iv's, just giggles.

She had you and Mike so she was a lucky one. You and Mike had her so you are the lucky ones. Your memories are your life supports now. Honor them and she will smile down upon you.

Your daughter was obviously such a beautiful little spirit. My 3 year old watched your tribute with me, and he laughed over and over at her silly faces, loved the pictures of her sleeping with mommy, and playing with daddy. I can't begin to imagine the pain you are feeling over her loss. Thank you for sharing her this way, even though it makes me cry to watch it because I know she's gone. I'm saying prayers for your family tonight...again, so sorry for your loss.

It's like looking into a mirror of our kids. Please know our hearts are with you in your loss and thank you for sharing what a wonderful gift Maddie gave all of us.

I learned about your daughter through TechMama's blog. I have been glued to my computer reading the story of your pregnancy and her life and cried for your beautiful daughter and the two of you for most of the day. What a unimaginable tragedy. This is a such touching tribute to her. I've watched it a couple of times and wept for you. She was obviously full of spunk and life and love for you both. What a lucky little girl to have been cared for with so much love. I cannot begin to imagine the sadness and emptiness you must be feeling now. May you find peace and comfort in each other and in your precious memories of dear little Madeline. She was special.

Laughter and tears. At the moment the tears still outweigh the smiles, but I hope that one day it'll be an equal amount of both, and maybe, eventually, more smiles than tears.
