Spend a couple minutes in the multiverse and you may find it comfortable enough to participate in your own Parallelostory, which is just hip meta-universe slang for "parallel love story".  But remember, this is only one of an infinite number renderings of the same story that your dimensional alternates will have already viewed, are viewing, or will view.

Or not at all.

Another really lovely work. You guys bury your cleverness deep into your work, so it's just kind tapping the cool, sensitive surface and it never becomes "showy" or cocky. I hope you proceed with wild abandon into many projects to come.

Beautiful. Is there an HD version?
  • impactist plus 2 years ago
Thanks Ryan... Yes, this is an HD project scaled smaller, but we can't bring ourselves to post any of our work in HD here because the compression is just too aggressive and distorts the pictures and colors more than we care to see. We're sure things will change in the future, but for now we just can't bring ourselves to do it.

Lovely style. I am confused, though. Is the astronomer in this video supposed to be in some way in love with themselves in a parallel universe where they have the opposite gender? Sad to think that their love is so lonely.
  • impactist plus 2 years ago
You tell us... We have our own idea we wrote, but yours is another take on it we hadn't considered. Even more sad, we dare say. But in your interpretation, which one is "the astronomer"? The man or the woman? Or are they, like you have posited, the same person at the same time in an alter-verse? Thanks for the new point of view... love it!

    Smiles!

;) You do smile quite a lot (or so it seems..)

How come then that your movie has such a sad touch to it?? Personally I love the feeling a lot.
In my eyes it perfectly describes the kind of impression when you try to reach out for something, that is just too far away (or simply only existing inside of your head)..

But seriously, you should consider making a movie called 'smile' or something like that..

You have a wonderful touch to your work so I trust you'll make something great out of it.. (:
  • impactist plus 2 years ago
Frown better? Nah... we'll stick to smiles.

However it makes you feel is fine with us. We find it to be hopeful, pensive, and full of opportunity... Depends what you bring to it as a viewer and if you are watching the story that we are, we suppose.

Perhaps, you bring your own sadness to it?

It's just a small story... Smile!
