Decided to do a continuous shooting comparison between my Elph 300HS pocket camera (that I carry with me everwhere) and my HF M301 camcorder. The HF M301 is supposed to do up to 60 photos at the rate of 3 per second; the Elph is supposed to shoot continuously as long as you hold down the shutter button (I'm not talking about high speed burst). Went down to the beach and set the cameras up on a tripod (except for the last two Elph sets); used the wireless remote for the M301 and just held down the shutter button on the Elph. Both did well in my opinion.
