I made these little mobile sculptures for Mark Sink's 50th birthday party. The robotic components are Hexbugs that walk forward and change direction when you clap you hands...
They are meant to look like female genitalia, encrusted with tiny crystal beads and pearls. I used the raw wool my mother dye batched prior to spinning.
Materials: Wool, pearls, crystals, thread, Hexbugs, and hairspray.
