In this video interview filmed for SeaWeb's Ocean Voices series, Chris Palmer explains his dedication to ocean conservation through filmmaking. Palmer chats with SeaWeb about his experiences making environmental films, including how his ethics in the field have evolved over the course of his career. Palmer is currently the Director of the Center for Environmental Filmmaking at American University in Washington, DC.

Disclaimer: Octopus routinely enter prawn nets to feed on the prawns inside. The octopus in this video was inside a net when it was pulled up. The fishermen promptly returned the octopus to the ocean unharmed (and with a full belly, no doubt).
