"This expedition's first seed was sown in early 2011 and the first sapling of the adventure propped its head in December. A trio of photographers made a pact to take on the terroir of the big cats with wanderlust and sticky fingers. Shutter after shutter these lens-brushers armed with part lens, part paint brush broad stroked the canvas that is Botswana. First at the Kwando Camp in Kwara and Little Kwara and then at the mystical Duba Plains, stage for two epic movies, Relentless Enemies and The Last Lions. What you see is my interpretation of the Botswana narrative, part poignant, part whimsical, part inspired and part hopeful. The jury is out on the 'hopeful'. Inspired assaults by man, including us, is at risk of tilting the gentle equilibrium that these magnificent mammals have enjoyed with nature. Yet, when you see her bounty as spontaneously recored in my narrative, it will set a tremor in your hearts, a whisper in your ears and a gentle thud in your soul."
