Postcards From My Desktop: an attempt at really simple syndication, was an online performance by Renée Turner. As a part of the Double Bind series, a project curated by Annie Abrahams for Panoplie(dot)org, the work was streamed live on December 15, 2008. The performance used two simultaneous streams, RSS news feeds, a mix of real-time transcription and pre-written material. The video was broadcast at one frame per second and subject to the delay of the stream.

There was also an open chat during the performance. As the RSS were simplified and re-transcribed, those texts were fed into the chat creating a kind of conspiratorial loop between performer and audience. The chat has been archived here: 2008.panoplie.org/#/DoubleBind/5
