There was some informative discussion about the audio hack on the personal-view website and I tried one of the settings discussed in the forum: personal-view.com/talks/discussion/comment/48968#Comment_48968

By tweaking the Automatic Gain Control (AGC) values, the idea appears that you may maximize the audio potential of a GH2 camera: perlichtman.com/pasdenapulse/wordpress/2012/03/06/advanced-panasonic-gh2-tutorial-setting-audio-agc-in-ptool/ Here is also an audio testing video I liked which gives a realistic effect of "being there": vimeo.com/40154823

For this video, I used the 'Sanity 4.1' patch, Sennheiser MKE 400 shotgun microphone with wind-muff, and Voigtlander Nokton 17.5mm F0.95. The film mode was Cinema (+2, -2, 0, -2) at ISO 160 and aperture 0.95. The sound settings were as follows:

Mic Level Adj, Level 4
AGC 3, 128
AGC 2, 144
AGC 1, 160
AGC 0, 203
