CineVic: Society of Independent Filmmakers recently converted our Eclair NPR to the Ultra 16 format. This test footage was shot by CineVic Equipment Coordinator (and DOP) Daniel Carruthers and transfered to 1080p Apple Pro Res 422 by Cinelicious. The film was a Kodak 7205 250d short-end, kept at room temp for 6 month prior to the shoot which explains some of the "sparklies" at the beginning.

Were you able to do the conversion yourself? What tools did you use to alter the film gate? Thanks for the info.

Looks great - I just decided to go the Ultra 16 route as well. I'm curious - is that a bit of the sprocket I see in the upper left hand corner?
