Cinema4D (rendered with Sketch & Toon), compositing in AE, some sound work in Premiere. After the Rubik's Cube piece, I wanted to try something very, very simple.

I wanted to do the transformation by "inflating" the cube with soft body dynamics, but I couldn't make it both round and firm enough to get the feeling of a ball that could roll and bounce away. So I dropped my cube in a hypernurbs and the subdivisions while adding some upwards initial velocity on my dynamics tag. The rolling away was a combo of motor (for the spinning) and wind (to push it a bit quicker in a specific direction).
