Brain Wraps is a feature length comedy shot in the Summer of 1998. Chris Mason, the writer/ director, drew much of his inspiration from the works of Kevin Smith. Primarily, Clerks and Chasing Amy. It is set at Converse Cinemas, a recently demolished movie theatre that I worked at from 1995-1999. The script was written for a class for Ray Merlock at USCS, and took roughly four months to complete principal photography. Production would be from 12:00am-4:00am four nights a week. The original version was edited linearly, tape to tape. This Special Edition has been re-edited with Avid NLE. There was a 20 piece orchestra assembled to record the film's score, written by Mark Catoe.
