A 3 MINUTE WONDER FILM FOR CHANNEL 4 EXPLORING THE SEARCH FOR SELF THROUGH OUR COLLECTIVE UNDERSTANDING OF THE NOTION OF "HOME".

This short documentary film directed by Chris Allen and Rob Rainbow was inspired by the track “Sublime 01″ by composer Michael Nyman. It combines his music with a philosophical monologue of Joe McGarry, the former the Director of development at homeless charity Arlington House. It explores our collective sense of home through a visual poem that illustrates Joe’s journey of finding his home within himself.

The audio interview was originally made by Rob Rainbow for the Domestic Archaeology exhibition at the Geffrye Museum.
