How beautiful. I often have thought of how to pass the memory on of my father to my son. I had asked my father to write (because he's a writer) a bio of sorts right down to his favorite color. My father lives far from me and a hole already exists where he concerned, but I believe they never leave us... just go into a different room.

Hi Lisa, Some great words you write here, in my case it hasn't been easy to make this because it evokes many memories particularly when editing this. I hope you find the best way to pass on your memory it important to all of to know where we have come from. Thanks again for viewing my work and taking time to respond, best wishes Mark

A really nice piece. I am only gutted by the 1st camera move, it was a little shakey which kind of drew you back out of the film for a moment. I dont know if the camera was on a trolly or if it was just a little stiff for the yaw rotation. Other than that it was a nice moving piece with gentle visuals to go with the music.
  • Londonmark Films 6 months ago
Hi David, I understand the point on the camera move but this looks like this because of the compression, thanks for coming to view my work best wishes Mark

  • Mark, this is a wonderful short and makes you think how short life is. I lost my father nine years ago and fortunately I bought a video camera in 1985. I was able to capture him. It's still hard to view those tapes and at some point I will put them together as a remembrance and for his grandchildren who were too young to know him. Thanks for sharing.

I am distracted by Jude Law's character in Gattaca everytime i watch this. I don't know why.
