Watch this EPIC battle between Nik Lenski (MRA # 969) and me, David "Mobster" Mobley (MRA # 78) at the MRA (Motorcycle Roadracing Association) opening round, which took place on Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th. Video is from Amateur GTU (middleweight) race on Saturday.
35 bikes gridded up and I got a killer start when the lights went out. I made a dive under Dennis Stowers into turn 3A and put my head down to make a break at the front. I was able to get away for around 5 laps, but Nik caught up and we started dicing back and forth. Lapped traffic ended up playing a big role and I wish I would have played a few cards differently. Alas, 2nd isn't too shabby and I'll get the win next round.
