Sense:less was a full-blown interactive VR installation created for the Electra exhibition in Oslo, 1996. It ran on a SGI Crimson and used VR goggles as well as a custom bodysuit built by Stahl Stenslie. Kate Pendry wrote most of the narrative, supported by Knut Mork who also did the overall software design. I did the realtime 3D, primitive as they were.
Sense:less was later exhibited at DEAF 1996 and at the Istanbul Biennial 1997. It also won an honorary mention in Prix Ars Electronica 1996. evolutionzone.com/hardwork/senseless
