    You're like a giant dot-matrix printer! What was the time period for that drawing? 2 days?

    I would say 3-4 nights a few hours each night until the deadline was the next day and I had to go for a bit longer. And I wouldn't say I copied the photo source exactly, I used a cross-hatching technique to add some texture.

    Whoah! You drew the face sideways, I find that so hard to do... I can't shade in anything unless I've got the proportions and axis with key features marked out already. Even when copying off another picture, I still need to look at it the right way to pick out recognisable features and get them in the right place and size-ratio.

    I think for this one I blocked out general outlines of the image first. Drawing from a photo that's upside-down is pretty good eye training.

    I can't remember correctly, but I think I used this giant opaque projector we had in the art department of my high school. I wanted it to be as accurate as possible.
