Music video for the band The 202's made by myself and Jules Hackett.
We made it by first shooting video of the band against a large white sheet lit from behind so as to silhouette them. We then cut it together as a video as normal and then projected it onto a table from above. We clamped a phonebook onto it and then drew around the silhouette onto each page. We skipped every other frame so we wound up drawing just under 3000 altogether in 11 phonebooks. Finally we photographed it with a Canon 350D and imported the lot back to FCP.
