I'm a little familiar with BMXing, all my friends do it. I come from a skateboarding back round.
Nice edit!
once again, thanks for watching, and I hope you have fun when you get your bike!
I've watched it like 8 times.
this is probably the best edit
I've seen out in a while.
And evertime i end up going
outside and riding because it
really makes me want to ride.
What are you shooting with? the shots at night seem super crisp which is rare.
i like both of your edits that you have up here.
having killer rider's is a nice thing too.
what are you filming with?
i shoot with a panasonic hmc150.
im looking into upgrading camera's but i dont have $2000+ to spend on one.
i was thinking of going and getting like a canon hf s100 and buying a wide angle lense the only thing i dislike about that is not having tape and relying on an internal hard drive.
any sugestions?
the first thing i want you to know is that if you get something you dont absolutely love at first, you will eventually become dissatisfied and want to upgrade later, wasting money in the process. if it means you have to save every penny for a few extra months, so be it. it will be worth it when you have that kickass camera you dreamed of in your hands. the one you recommended seems pretty overpriced for what it offers.
the second thing that you should know is that HD isn't going to automatically make your videos better. if you have around a grand to spend, the best setup you can get is either a vx1000 and save for a mkI, or you can get a DVX100/DVX100a. If you really want your vids in HD, get an HV20/30+babydeath setup. but remember what i said before: if you aren't confident before you buy, you will probably end up unhappy down the road.
lastly, don't sweat camera stuff too much. if you are too worried about not having a fisheye or a good tripod or any other accessory, you won't be feeling confident when you go out to shoot. just use what you have to the best of your (and its) abilities, and always keep practicing every day.
have fun shooting!
there are a ton of camera's on the market. I've used a gl2 and have friends that film with it but I'm not quite sure about venturing down that road so i turned more towards smaller cameras. Another key factor is portability because i do ride from spot to spot with the camera on me. I'm not sure if you have seen my video's which have been filmed with flip camera's for the most part and that will be the camera i am upgrading from. I understand that HD doesn't give you girl scout points for film but i do like its crisp and sharp look.
I am not too worried about fish eye, i cant stand that lens aha yet i am interested in purchasing a wide angle perhaps. but as far as accessories go, i found a tripod in my downstairs closet and dusted it off so i will be using that and not having to spend any money.
it flows so good together
sum sik riding and filming
props:)
