really inspiring music ! and the concept is interesting , the notion of "double" or alter is a great idea , we all have to learn to communicate with us to better communicate with other ( hope I'm clear , English is not my native language..;-)
    regards

Thanks so much, folks. This track is a bit different from what I usually do, and I think maybe a little long for most taste, so it's great getting positive encouragment! Thanks!!!!

well... didn't know David Hykes married Bobby Mac Ferrin once... weird ;-) but sooo good. Reminds me some songs of Thomas Clements, nice overtone singer with some pop influences (t.clements.free.fr/snd/elephant.mp3)...

How did you achieve such a beautiful delay/reverb/echo? Sorry I am quite a noob at sound recordings. I love it.

    thanks!!!!

OK, so here's what I did. I armed a track in Logic (so that one is being fed by my microphone.) And then I have four sets of sends mapped to the knobs of my midi controller. So I am able to dial in amounts of this microphone to up to 4 different tracks, and each one of those has an instance of Delay Designer set to Infinite Repeate 4 bars. So basically it's a 4 bar loop per each track. Then each of those tracks has it's volume mapped to sliders on my midi controller so I can control the volume of each.

Thank you so much for the short tutorial haha, I don't own logic or really many mics, but maybe one day I will try use your methods when I get the assets!

You're welcome, Michael. You don't even really need a mic, btw. You can use the mic in your laptop. My improvisations 1 and 2 both use that mic. And I HIGHLY recommend Logic. I love that program a lot!
