A documentary exploring the lives of the Negro League Baseball Players. The focus is on what life was like for the players and their families off of the field while pursuing their dreams in the 1930’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60's in America. Explores racism and segregation and how their lives were changed when Jackie Robinson crossed the color barrier and broke into Major League Baseball. The stories are shared through exclusive interviews with the players and family members themselves.

They were thankful for the chance to play the game they loved. They all said, "That's just the way it was". They are some of the most generous and kind people I've had the honor and pleasure of meeting.
