    Wow, I did not know such a thing existed. What kind of camera was mounted on that helicopter, I presume it was not a canon 5d! Also does the camera that's mounted on the helicopter have stabilization of some sort, because the video seems silky smooth.

    The heli camera was a Sony CX12, but since that time, I have only been flying the 5DM2 with great success.

    Can you tell us more about the chopper? What kind is it? What kind of rig do you use?

    I'm guessing it takes ALOT of practice to be able to fly it so well!

    WOW. very impressed are you really flying with the 5D now wow the helicopter must be a powerfully little bugger to carry that weight. do you have any images of the rig or details of the heli. fantastically smooth.

    so how are you actually seeing your footage or controling the 5D (or any camera for that matter).. how could you be accurately shooting?

    And how much does this cost to set up? :D

    50% of the time I fly solo, guessing what I'm shooting based on experience. Ideally I have a camera operator with a video downlink controlling pan/tilt.
