This is an interview about the state of China's economy. It was conducted in February 2009 with Stephen Joske of the Economist Intelligence Unit's Beijing office for Off The Record, our blog. Stephen was discussing the prospects for China going into recession and the possible success of the Chinese Government's stimulus package. He forecast that the Chinese economy would achieve economic growth of 6-8 percent this year.
