An eclectic character that has left in the nostalgies of those who had the chance to know him through different and conflicting memories. In the 60’s he was the editor of the newspaper Avanti, then he decided to leave everything to start painting and to face a new life. The memories of the people who met him are very different. Uliano Lucas had showed him through his objective, we chose to tell the story of Lucas through Rino Vaghetti.
We shot a sequence for a “stolen” portrait of his old friend. We represented trough a short fiction of his photo subject, Rino Vaghetti portraying a sequence of his life between the start of the day and the time of the shooting of the picture, to tell how the expressiveness of the image depends not so much by the predispositions of Uliano Lucas, but rather from the background that the person lived before the time of that photo.
