‘S.O.S. Puffin‘ is a project where volunteers visit the islands of the Firth of Forth to cut down the tree mallow, helping the puffin population to re-use their old burrows, previously invaded by the plant.

This documentary will show the importance of ‘S.O.S. Puffin’ to the local community and raise awareness about the need to protect wildlife. More than just a tribute to the volunteers and to the natural beauty of North Berwick’s surroundings, this documentary will allow to educate the public about the biology of puffins and the ecology of the islands.

We are currently seeking funding to finish and distribute the film.
