BOSTON (May 18, 2012) - Pastoral Center employees helping with manual labor around St. Matthew Parish in Dorchester.
A new tradition among the Archdiocesan employees who work in the Pastoral Center in Braintree is taking a week in the spring to volunteer at a couple of inner-city parishes for some spring cleaning.
Organized by the Parish Financial Services office, the week sees employees from various departments volunteer for time slots Monday to Friday to do both indoor and outdoor work in the parishes.
This year, St. Angela in Mattapan and St. Matthew in Dorchester will receive assistance.
