8 months ago This is a very informative video, David. I have the HF100 but am yet to use it. I know, I'm an idiot. I still need to get an editing program and an external mic. I'll probably get the Canon DM-100 mic, but are there cheaper ones that are just as good? And that Audio-Technica mic is really cool. -
David Risley 8 months ago Not sure. That shotgun mic in this video is the DM-100, so you can hear how it sounds. There are probably others, but I got this one because it seemed like a perfect match for the camera.

indi 7 months agois it possible to mix both mic's at once? like recording D100 and Lav into one mix or separate channels.? thanks -
David Risley 7 months ago I don't think I can mix the two audio streams, no. If I used some sort of external mixer, I probably could though.
