2. Copenhagen User Experience
Copenhagen is a User Experience concept that I designed. It is unique in the fact that it manages to bring together classic design, contemporary design, usability, and art.

Copenhagen shatters the composite prototypical event patterns people have developed for their OS, Windows.

It is a collision of months of research, high visibility, proper affordance, accurate conceptual models, visceral experience, behavioral experience, and reflective experience, all coming together to create an amazing user experience.

I like this. I would like to see it a bit more classic windows feel to it. This would be best as a taskbar option.

If I were to ever prefer windows over OS X, this is what it should look like, and be like to use. Win 7 has some major improvements, sure, but it's still not Leopard :P

Awesome work by the way. I'm interested in knowing how you made the concept, though. Is it motion graphics entirely, or did you actually modify stuff within windows?

Ugh what the hell....there's a point where the OS is way too flashy to be of use to anybody (hint: it's this concept)

It is very flashy indeed, but I see lots of usability issues dealt with in there. Hey, if you don't have any luck with microsoft accepting your design, you might want to talk to the KDE guys. I believe a lot (if not all) of your design could be implemented in KDE. And there's gonna be no shame for KDE team to recommend your design.

It looks flashy but I doubt that it would increase my productivity vs Xp Pro. Eye candy is nice, but I prefer to spend my computer budget increasing performance- give me lean and mean instead please. And without any NSA backdoors or other intentional security holes please.
