this was truly an international event for us as we had the guest shooters casey + danielle from mindcastle in seattle as well as matthew ebenezer from shadowplay in australia. it is also our pleasure to announce that matt ebenezer will be joining us for all of our stillmotion australia workshops. we will have another post very shortly with how that will fit into the schedule, but we thought it would be awesome to bring in a local perspective on spin with everything we are sharing.

one last tech note - a good portion of this was shot the the canon 5d mkII. we used cinevate's shoulder mount setup for the 5d to get awesome stability while retaining the mobility and flexibility we needed. it really eliminated all of the rolling shutter in the footage and allowed us to use lenses we typically couldn't use without a tripod. we could probably put together a short behind the scenes clip of the rig in use. so if your interested in seeing some of that footage, just send an email to troy@stillmotion.ca and we will get something posted up here for you.
