You guys never dissapoint.
I don´t sure yet about the bravis or the mark II.. I do some test whit the mark and liked to me so much.. i love it in condition of poor light.. thats amaizing !!!!
like the tone of collor...
and woweee... the pairing of steadicam/ultra wide lenses really shows off how smooth motion can get! great job guys!
this was shot in 30P on the MKII and converted to 24P before editing. we love wide lenses with the motion to really exaggerate the movement and make our job easier :)

Awesome stuff as always.
One question. I noticed during the rack focus, on the grass and in the forest before the ultra-wide steadicam circle, that there appears to be a "shadow" that races along the ground in the focused area as the rack-focus occurs.
Just wondering if that's normal for rack-focused footage with a fairly tight focal plane?
sincerely,
ian

It may not be a "shadow" but I perceived it as such.
At 2:28, the rack focus on the golf green??? where you only see the couple's feet the focal plane is so tight that there's only a thin....."line" of focus that races from foreground to background as the rack focus is performed.
Looks like it may just be me. :)
Regardless. Inspiring work. Truly inspiring.
sincerely,
ian
Are you referring to the "focused" portion of the grass to feet shot? Feels like your asking if the shot was an incredibly tight depth of focus or maybe done with software. Taking a guess, but unless there was extensive masking done the focal plane includes the feet and legs noting it is not software driven. if it were simply a software blur effect the focused portion would have resided on the just the grass and feet at the bottom. So a full sensor and a 1.# aperture can indeed cut like a knife for a shot like this.
Am I close to right Patrick?
Really good video, couple looks great! I like last moments!
