    Just opened the AVI file in quicktime pro and chose a HD frame size (1280x720) with a bitrate of about 4000.

    it's a DVRigPro that i bought a few years back but haven't really had much use for it until now. It can just about cope with the combined weight of camera & adapter, but when i start adding extras like monitor,mic it starts getting really heavy. I may have to upgrade to a better shoulder support system fairly soon.
