Lyon Festival of Lights - Fete des Lumieres 2007 - Prefecture du Rhone - Eclipses
2 years ago
This is really a great light show! Part of Lyon's and mankind's history projected on the walls of the Rhône Prefecture. The video takes about 13 minutes and shows the evolution of dinosaurs, the ice age, the French classical period, the industrial revolution, the Montgolfier brothers (who are from Lyon), Ampere (who is also from Lyon), the World Wars with a glimpse of Jean Moulin's (ancient prefect of Lyon and an important figure in the 2nd World War Resistance in France) face until the city of Lyon as we know it nowadays.
Since the festival has taken place in december, I almost froze my hands off taking this video with my digital photo camera.
