"Obscure Object Part 3" premiered at:

Part 3 in an on going series of films by Stephen Dirkes and Tal Shpantzer. This episode features Juliette Morel and Carlos Vidal. Stop motion animation was shot by Tal on a Canon 5D.
Both of us drew inspiration from French '60's and Japanese '80's New Wave cinema. References abound and "Alphaville" and "Tetsuo" are specific examples.
French concertina and Japanese noise-scape duet within the context of a 1960's bongo led orchestra. I wanted to develop a "chase" scene tempo throughout to bare out the character's heightened state of paranoia and tension.
