Mr. Greg Trupiano, Artistic Director of The Walt Whitman Project working in cooperation with St. Francis College English Professors Gregory F. Tague, Ph.D. and Assistant Academic Dean Ian Maloney collected a spirited group of readers and choralists to perform selections from the Walt Whitman memoir Specimen Days at the College on April 15, 2009.

Performers include Mr. Trupiano; Lon Black, Associate Artistic Director, The Walt Whitman Project; Nicole Mitchell; Leslie Valentine; Matt Miller, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of English, Yeshiva University; St. Francis College students Noel Jones and Jaime Squeri; and St. Francis College alumni Hakim Williams and Jill Neziri.
