More than 80 million people live in shared houses in the European Union. Shared houses form an invisible city, the very capital of United-In-Diversity-Europe. Architecture without architects. A homey urbanism that has nothing sweet in it. And an amount of cases challenging the very certainty of architecture as a practice.
Now comes the prototype designed and constructed by Andrés Jaque Arquitectos, with the support of Mies van der Rohe Fundation. It can be visited in Construmat until Saturday 26th April 2009.
