Interview with local artist David Young V at his apartment in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco.
This was a conversation as a lead up to David's one man show at Babylon Falling, Live Forever. Comprised of over 100 pieces, the work in Live Forever represented the first stage of an exploration of life in a San Francisco torn apart by conflict, and existing in a state of confusion and fear with the physical world destroyed and social roles transformed.
David talks with us about his early immersion in the east coast Punk scene, his discovery of the world of street art, war, repression, and of course his obsession with Micron 08 pens.
