When someone commits a crime under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they take mandatory group counseling sessions.

Inside, they talk about their every day lives, not necessarily about their drug or alcohol abuse problems. Many of the people in these groups don't even have abuse problems and are here for a single mistake they made.

However, they are all here for one reason...they committed a crime under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol.

Here, we meet one of those groups as they welcome a new member. We are introduced to each member and hear what a couple of them have been up to lately.

Superb opening on what I regard as "One of the Most Refreshing Machinima's Ever".

From the exquisite opening credit sequences where text writing takes precedence over all else due to the imaginative use of blurring to the fluid focus into foreground of the visuals. It had me hooked, it had me entertained and it had me engrossed. I thought you did a great job building the scene with the session taking place in the background as the credit sequence tailed off.

Dialogue was something to be marvelled at. I loved the interactions between the distinctive characters, who all had their own little thing going on. Loved the stand-up segment, which I must say was written well and Mef did an excellent job performing it.

But most of all, I thought you did an excellent job intergrating their individual stories and meshing them well with the foundations of the sessions. I found myself drawn to the characters and wanted to learn more about them.

Your freecam and use of editting for animations were exemplary and really showcased what can be done with this powerful tool. One of the highlights that spring to mind was the slow pan to the washed out drunk, who subsiquently gets up and travels to a bus stop.

Everything was just cohesive and it just worked and that's what makes this movie special. I truly cannot wait for Part 2 and hope it's around the corner.

This can work well as an ongoing series, a mini-series or even a full feature.

    Excellent Work... Nuketastic!!!!!

jorge is truly flourishing as a film maker on every level. real world conversations, perfect blend of humor and drama. superb directing and editing techniques, very subtle but highly effective in drawing parallels to the theme of drug/alcohol abuse. also the voice acting exhibits a wide range of personalities, all of them not only believable but very much alive. excellent creation, please continue!

Having seen the trailer some time ago I was keen to see the full movie. What I particularly like about your work generally is your carefully contructed dialogue, and Anonymous doesn't disappoint here.
A talented group of voice actors helped make the delivery believable. I thought Mefune Akira was particularly good as Gully.
    Keep 'em coming Jorge!

i am beyond impressed. where to start? ok, the story was terrific. the writing was funny and poignant. very effective camera use, followed by top-notch editing. the front titles and end credits were amazing, and the clever use of blurring throughout tied in well. i'm awaiting the next installment with great anticipation.
