This was an amazing few days. Vishal was Hindu and Sukh was Sikh. The two respected each others beliefs and traditions and we joined the couple as they had two wedding ceremonies.
The reception was held at the amazing Natural History Museum! The room is turned from a public tourist attraction into a reception venue in an hour! All crews have to practice a rehearsal prior to the wedding.
Vishal's beautiful Ferrari arrived just in time for the wedding, so I had to come up with a cool shot. I mounted a camera above the engine. We were worried about the engine heat, so we used a waterproof housing as a protection. The two ceremonies were filmed with 2 VIVIDA cinematographers. The reception had 3 cinematographers. The light was a real challenge at the Natural History Museum so we used onboard LEDs for the first time. This isn't our preferred method, but the risk assessment for the Museum meant that we wanted to avoid lights on stands around a Dinosaur! I'd love to use 5D MKIIIs in this venue.
The feature film for this couple is a real joy to watch. This really gives you only a taster.
Enjoy! Post a comment or questions and I will respond as soon as I can.
