This film was concepted, directed and produced by Clusta for a design expo held in Birmingham in October 2006 It was an opportunity to do a piece of work wich was completely non-customer facing and incorporated the studios ideas and skill-sets.

really great, do you use some sofware like some sort of DJ video for such dinamic montage?
  •

agreed - great editing, footage, effects, et al.
however, in all fairness, i will report it left me feeling empty, like i ate a bag of chips rather than a satisfying meal. or watched a really looong and *flashy* commercial with no point.

brilliant stuff man ! :)..it's not bag of chips '' empty '' as Chad mentioned earlier...'cause ( and I see he missed this part ) states at the start : '' compulsive repetition of an act until it's perfect '' :)
    great work man ! :)

cheers dude, the piece did have a loose concept, based round the idea of life and death, but in the end we wanted people to make up their own minds, so left it purposefully ambiguous.

which programe did you use ? great work !
  • Clusta 4 months ago
The whole piece was shot shot on a Sony Vx200 (old and basic i know:, but does the job) it has a fake pro scan mode which gives decent footage, we then put everything through AFX and used Magic Bullit to grade it. LOTS of time re-mapping, bit of 3dsmax/Vray and a killer tune by apparat.

Beautiful work - I love that bird flying over the trees.

  • Amazing art. It brings to mind the memories of an off world being just after a major accident. That beings memories of what they saw and did before a major ship accident. Ya I know .... I'm crazy. ^_^

WOW!.. completely mesmerizing. Extremely well put together. I love the play on the ink and the hair and the overall play on the fusion of organic with digital. I wish it were higher res. A pleasure to experience.

Seems like it can be the opening credits to a science fiction film about the study of human nature, from a machines point of view. Like a robot or AI downloading the human concept. (something like that hasn't been done before... lol) Makes me want to write a script tho. Well done.
