Most of my free time in the Spring of 2012 was spent wading in the streams that descend from the north face of the Säntis in north-east Switzerland, together with camera, two tripods and a 4-foot Dynamic Perception dolly.

The first half of this video is the product of that rather wet endeavour.1980s plastic climbing boots and gaiters were used to keep my feet dry, along with crampons on the slippery rocks. It was an odd combination perhaps, but it worked, though I no doubt painted an eccentric picture to those passing by.

The second half was photographed in summer 2011 in the Alpstein and Susten Pass areas of Switzerland.
